About the role: As the National Maintenance Manager role you will oversee the companies Maintenance Team in its entirety reporting directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for setting strategic plans that include financial budgeting and operational and resources management.
The role will include:
- Responsible for the overall Maintenance Department of Roc-Drill
- Development and implementation of National Maintenance Plan and distribute at a site level.
- Provide short term and long-term vision of planned maintenance costs.
- Provide scope for equipment rebuilds and provide estimates.
- Ensure on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands.
- Improve equipment reliability.
- Improve efficiency and increase asset utilization.
- Lead Continuous Improvement within the maintenance department
- Accountable of daily planning of the Maintenance department
- Responsible to improve maintenance technicians’ efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to procedures and optimize inventory levels according to activity forecast.
- Responsible to implement reliability improvement practices
- Responsible to develop and build competency of the maintenance department employees and the tracking of their progress.
- Lead the setup of new project sites ensuring consistency at all locations.
- Manage and develop current and future OEM relationships.

To be considered applicants must have:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a National Maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex issues
- Technical knowledge. In depth knowledge of maintenance processes, technologies and best practice
- Bachelors degree in relevant field such as Engineering, operations management or related discipline (preferred)
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams.
