It is an exciting time for tennis in Australia and we have ambitious plans to continue grow our game from grassroots to Grand Slam. We're looking for an Operations Coordinator to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. The Operations Coordinator will support in the day-to-day management of the National Tennis Academy (NTA) operations.
In this role you will:
Reporting to the NTA Director you will assist in facilitating the communication, integration and support of National Tennis Academy players, coaches and staff and relevant external stakeholders. This role will support the Director of National Tennis Academy in operationalising the holistic development of National Tennis Academy players both within the Academy and abroad.
- Support the integration of talented state players into the National Tennis Academy.
- Ensure all training equipment and facilities required in the National Tennis Academy are available.
- Coordinate the daily program of activity in the academy, including maintaining the master planning schedule for courts, coaches, players etc.
- Assist in supporting National Tennis Academy athletes on tour domestically or internationally (8-10 weeks annually).
- Coordinate the bump in and bump out of NTA during Brisbane International and external events.
- Manage athlete agreements and relevant upkeep of Athlete Management System (AMS)
What you will bring to this role:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Sports Science/Management, Teaching (Physical Education) or similar (desirable).
- Strong Administration skills including computer literacy, budgeting, record keeping and report writing.
- Communication skills both one-on-one, group and public speaking situations.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of tennis and tennis coaching (preferable).
- Alignment with the Tennis values of Imagination, Humility, Collaboration and Excellence.
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
