An exciting opportunity now exists for a National Tender and Proposal Coordinatorto join our growing national support team.
Position Overview:
As a Tender and Proposal Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the business development process by coordinating and providing all the basic responses in the preparation of tenders, proposals, and bids. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with the senior management teams. The role will report to the National Bid Manager who will initially provide the required training and support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and tracking of various tender websites and portals for potential project opportunities.
- Researching, analysing, and interpreting bid documents to understand requirements and expectations and completing content of tender in client format.
- Work closely with the state Management teams; a key part of this role will be able to communicate with teams to ensure information and strict deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather insights and information for proposal development.
- Assist Managers with Generic Introductory Proposals
- Ensure that all proposals and tenders comply with company policies and industry regulations and client expectations.
- Conduct thorough reviews to guarantee the quality and accuracy of submissions.
- Maintain a bid calendar to ensure timely submissions and compliance with deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining the tender library.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in bid coordination is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates will need to have appropriate experience in a writing or administrative role with transferable skills.
- A tertiary qualification in marketing & communications, creative writing or journalism is desirable but not necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills is essential.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Ability to work on your own and collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
