Junee Community Centre provides Aged Care, NDIS and community services to individuals in Junee and the wider Riverina. We are a community based not-for-profit organisation. We are committed to helping our clients flourish.
Qualifications & experience
- Qualifications in relevant fields such as bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, or related disciplines are advantageous.
- Previous experience in plan management, financial administration, or customer service roles within the disability sector or NDIS environment is preferred.
- A good understanding of, or willingness to learn NDIS policies, guidelines, and funding model.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective relationships with diverse clients.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial administration and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software applications, including Microsoft Office.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage NDIS participant budgets, including monitoring funding allocations and processing invoices.
- Provide personalised support and guidance to clients, ensuring their plans align with their individual goals and needs.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and compliance with NDIS guidelines using our specialised NDIS software system.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients and service providers, addressing queries and providing guidance on plan management processes.
- Uphold the standards of Junee Community Centre in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
