Ndt Technician

NDT Technicians required - Full time casual and trainee positions available.

Ultratest are now hiring experienced NDT technicians part time and casual and trainees.

Positions are now available to work in a well-established, NATA accredited NDT and inspection company, within the Melbourne area. 

Attractive remuneration and company vehicle is offered for the right people based on certifications/skill set and experience.

Experienced NDT technicians – 

The successful applicants shall be ISO9712 certified in the following at a minimum - 

• Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2 multi sector.

Requirements for NDT technician

• Minimum 2-3 years’ practical experience in relevant discipline
• An understanding of NATA requirements
• Experience in an In-service inspection environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High attention to detail and safety
• Other qualifications (PAUT, ET, PT, UT) will be an advantage.
• Must have driver’s license. 
• Must live in Australia or have a valid work visa.

Requirements for Trainees

• No experience required training will be provided.

Desirable Requirements (not essential):

• Elevated work platform (WP) high risk license
• Confined space and working at heights within the last 2 years.
• Construction Industry "White Card”

 Key Responsibilities

• To carry out inspections according to specifications and best technical practice.
• Maintaining & capturing records of results.
• Work independently alongside a small team.
• Comply with the requirements of the company's quality system.
• Translate NDT codes, standards, specifications, and procedures into NDT instructions adapted to the actual working conditions.
