Network Analyst
About the role
The Network Analyst is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve product flow and range configuration across the Liquor supply network. This is achieved by developing ranging propositions that:
- Improve availability for the customer
- Balance supply chain levers to deliver cost savings
- Create greater inventory efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently to validate & analyse data, build analytical models, generate insights and recommend opportunities to improve business performance across the supply network
- Prepare and deliver network ranging proposals and provide actionable conclusions for the intended recipients
- Prepare, present and explain analysis of network changes involving the preparation of cost/benefit analysis incorporating impacts to availability, inventory and network costs
- Liaise with operations to understand and incorporate tactical initiatives in network planning activities.
- Develop a strong working relationship with Commercial, Supply Chain and other key stakeholders ensuring the smooth evaluation and implementation of network reviews
- Develop and communicate project plans aligned to agreed network ranging changes to ensure stakeholder alignment
- Manage the execution of range changes within SAP to ensure no impact to availability and inventory during cutover
- Report progress against key milestones including escalation of delays to the agreed timeline and benefits realisation
- Assess areas of improvement in current ways of working through a sound understanding of current process shortfalls and potential benefits from proposed changes
- Develop proposals for new initiatives outlining expected outcomes, design trials and exit strategies, and develop assessment / evaluation criteria
- Implement initiatives including the creation of any support tools, and associated support such as training, process documentation etc
- Test and evaluate changes in methodology or process - documenting business impacts and compile all project documents
- Build insightful reporting tools for the Liquor Replenishment team
- Develop ideas, analysis, models and reports to support business decisions and deliverables
- Contribute to the thought leadership, development, and achievement of the overall team strategy

To be successful:
- Hands-on experience in data analytics or business intelligence with a Replenishment / Supply Chain / Operations Research / Econometrics / Financial Analysis focus
- Proficient Big Data skills and embedded knowledge of SQL
- Experience with one or more data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Data Studio, PowerBI, Qlik)
- Demonstrated experience in developing business-ready, actionable and insightful outputs
- An interest in innovative technologies and emerging trends
- Usually working on multiple projects/workstreams with differing deadlines
- Proven analytical skills, strong outcome orientation, and demonstrated ability to model optimised scenarios and make recommendations based on numerical data combined with an understanding of supply chain principles
- Demonstrated experience of complex problem solving, comfortable in handling large data set and able to develop solutions to meet business outcomes
- Ability to project manage the implementation of recommendations including status reporting to senior stakeholders
- Ability to extract and transform data from management information systems to input into data-driven insights
- Very strong technical skills in Excel / Google Sheets, SAP use, and reporting/data management systems incl SQL / GCP
- Ability to tailor and present complex information succinctly to different stakeholders
