The Opportunity
This is a technical hands-on role focusing on resolution of escalated IT service issues within various domains of network, cloud, security, infrastructure, and related technologies and supporting key initiatives. The role is critical in supporting our clients and the highest levels of systems and provide technical direction to IT support staff.
The Network Engineer’s role will focus on supporting our clients network infrastructure providing both reactive and proactive support. You will work closely with the Senior members of the team and be an escalation resource for members of the team. You will work as part of the Engineering Team and be a technical contact for our clients. You will be supported by our Consultants and Senior Engineers to provide solutions to issues and work on projects for our clients. You will provide support to other team members and be the point of contact for technologies you excel in.

Key responsibilities:
- Project Delivery as a Network Engineer implementing solutions with firewalls, routers, network switches and wireless devices.
- Act as an escalation point to support staff and our clients.
- Assisting with network infrastructure design and architecture.
- Logging and updating complex tickets associated with client requests.
- Installing, configuring, updating, and supporting network equipment including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless devices.
- Network monitoring, fault investigation, and resolution to maintain network performance and reliability.
- Support both physical and cloud network infrastructure systems.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Network Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in networking, computer science, engineering or equivalent.
- Associate level of knowledge across networking and protocols.
- Fundamental level of knowledge across multiple security domains.
- Fundamental level of knowledge across cloud platforms.
- Fundamental level of knowledge across physical infrastructure and related technologies.
Certifications / Qualifications including (but not limited to)
- Fortinet / Cisco / Palo Certified Network Administrator or equivalent.
- ITIL foundation certificate.
