Our passion drives us to leverage digital innovation and technology to revolutionize the water industry. Join us in shaping our digital future, making a lasting impact, and transforming our teams. And it's why we need people like YOU. Come and shape our future with us and make a real and lasting impact across our teams.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

To ensure a high performing network is available and secure for our employees, we have recently transitioned from legacy network infrastructure, managed by multiple outsourced suppliers, to new leading-edge technology, managed solely by the internal support team. In response to insourcing our network support, our Digital and Information Group have multiple opportunities for enthusiastic and proactive Network Engineers to join our newly formed Network Services team and play a vital role in implementing, configuring, transforming, and maintaining our network infrastructure to support the growing demands across our sites within Southeast Queensland.

The team manages critical switching, routing, security, mobile and wifi infrastructure hosted at our edge sites and data centres. The domain includes VPN, LAN, WAN, data centre core networks, firewalls, and load balancers.  The Network Services team is part of the larger Platform Services team, which oversees data centres, cloud management and database management.

Our Network Engineers provide technical knowledge, future planning and leadership in the delivery and implementation of design and governance activities relevant to the network platform.  They will be a contact point within the Platform Services team for the delivery and operations teams, external service providers and vendors within the domain. Responsible for evaluation and documentation of existing computer networks and future re-design components, the Network Engineer works closely with customers, project teams and other Digital and Information teams to ensure the network is highly resilient, cost effective and stable while supporting the organisation’s business processes.
