They are well represented nationally and in response to the market, are seeking a Sales Engineer in Gladstone to service and develop their customer base. From chemical treatment, to waste water and reprocess and filtration plants, they are equipped to serve a wide variety of industries and with Australian manufacturing plants, can do this swiftly. In this already well-established role, you will be responsible for managing their Alumina and Coal accounts and developing projects in the pipeline. You will work mostly autonomously from a home office, but support in meeting your objectives is close at hand and you will work with the Senior Sales and Technical teams.
Your main duties include:
- Developing our Technical presence within the region.
- Implementing sales strategies through existing project management and identification of opportunities
- Developing customer and industry relationships
- Routine service work and reporting
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Chemical Engineer, Metallurgist or similar qualification preferred
- Ability to provide technical solutions in applications relating to water purification
- Sales experience an advantage
- Strong customer service focus
- A can-do attitude
- Effective communication skills and ability to relate technical concepts to clients at all levels
- Ability to build rapport and develop strong and trusting business relationships
- Excellent time management skills with ability to run projects
- Open to graduates through to experienced sales professionals.
