Network & Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

We have an exciting opportunity for a Network & Infrastructure Engineerto join the team at Rowville, VIC.

This role demands a proactive focus on enhancing the organisation's LAN & WLAN, network security, and cloud Infrastructure frameworks. Additionally, it entails the sophisticated management of operation, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for AMA Group’s Azure Server Infrastructure, ensuring system reliability and security are maintained at the highest standard. The role will also assist in the development and maturation of AMA Group's automation practices within the organisation.

You will play an integral part in elevating AMA Group’s IT delivery by integrating advanced automation solutions, aiming to optimise system efficiency and resilience. You will also lead the provision of third-level technical support, resolving complex hardware and software issues through escalated cases from the Delivery Team.

Does this sound like you?

• Extensive experience with IT Networking, WAN, Routing, Firewall, Switching & respective best practices
• Working experience with Windows/Linux Server and Server Infrastructure Technologies
• Fundamental knowledge of and interest in Network Security
• Proven experience with Meraki, Velocloud and other Routing and WAN tech
• Experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, Security & Compliance
• Experience with Automation tools and scripting
• Proven ability to analyse and solve complex problems
• Understand and maintain complex, highly available network environments
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up
• Ability to meet tight timeframes and work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
