About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join us and support CCL Secure in implementing and maintaining key hardware/software security components of our network to ensure a robust security posture in line with government and customer requirements.
What you will be doing
- Maintain the dedicated networks for production and security systems as part of a global team
- Perform diagnostics and analysis of firewalls, routers, switches and associated systems to ensure maximum system reliability & security
- Maintain and manage Splunk environment
- Monitor and maintain technical infrastructure and network traffic to optimize security, performance and efficiency
- Configuration of firewalls, switches and routers as appropriate
- Monitor and maintain SD-WAN connectivity between sites
- Manage PKI distribution and issue/revoke certificates
- Develop regular penetration testing plan, as well as remediation actions
- Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and propose/implement mitigating solutions
- Ability to feed threat intel and vulnerability information to the larger IT team
- Management of a PKI solution
- Maintain IT security procedures / standards / guidelines / architecture; ensure compliance with required governance standards such as ISO27001
- Working Experience with one or more of the following or similar:
- Palo Alto (PANOS/Panorama)
- Cisco (IOS/SourceFire/ISE/WLC/PI)
- Wazuh/OSSEC
- Qualys/Nessus
- Splunk
Skills needed
- Tertiary qualifications – SSCP highly regarded
- Recognised qualification in IT security and/or 3-4 years relevant experience
- Familiarity with industrial solutions in manufacturing operations
- Experience with industry standard technologies, such as Cisco, Palo Alto, F5 etc.
Reporting to the Global IT Manager and based in our Melbourne facility you will be provided with support and guidance needed to understand this unique business and the world leading products that we produce.
