At Volvo Group Australia you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Validating, verifying, preparing and deploying Network infrastructure in the runtime environment
• Installation of network hardware and implementing software patch levels
• Providing 2nd and 3rd level support to the IT Helpdesk team
• Monitoring infrastructure performance, capacity and advice on improvements
• Being the point of contact for cyber security patching and vulnerability management
• Overseeing the budget, cost-calculation and updates for technical products
• Traveling locally to provide support to other Volvo sites or to our Data Centre

This role will form part of the greater Digital and IT team and will report through to the Manager - Infrastructure and Digitalisation. You will be based at our Wacol Head Office and work alongside a team of 13, including other Infrastructure Specialists and the local IT specialist team. Our Volvo Digitial and IT team are solutions-focused and strive to offer a positive internal customer experience with quick turn-arounds.

• Proven experience in an IT based role focused on network infrastructure
• CCNA or CCNP certification
• Exposure to Cisco and Windows Server operating environments
• Experience with Cyber Security topics
• Good business communication skills
• A team player who is happy to assist in other areas of the team when needed
