The role:
They are seeking a skilled Network and Security Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will manage and deliver networking solutions for both central and branch offices. You will work closely with the IT Manager to design, deliver, and operate their IT infrastructure, including assisting with the design and build of new office locations across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver networking solutions for central and branch offices.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to design, deliver, and operate IT infrastructure.
- Assist in the design and build of new office locations across Australia.
- Implement and manage Fortinet Firewalls, Switching (Core and Edge), Forti-Manager, Forti-Client, Fortinet branch VPNs.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Pure Storage or similar storage solutions.
- Manage Cisco phone systems or similar telecommunications systems.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with Fortinet Firewalls and associated technologies (Forti-Manager, Forti-Client, Fortinet branch VPNs, and switching).
- Proficient in network switching (Core and Edge).
- Familiarity with Pure Storage or similar storage solutions.
- Experience with Cisco phone systems or similar telecommunications systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
