Stock Controller
As a Vehicle Stock Controller at Peel WA Mandurah encompassing Mandurah Isuzu Ute, Subaru Mandurah, Mandurah Honda & Mandurah Skoda, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of vehicles, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and coordinating the movement of vehicles both internally and externally as required.
Your primary duties will include:
1. Inventory Management: Overseeing incoming and outgoing vehicles, maintaining accurate stock records using dealership management software, and conducting regular stock audits to reconcile physical inventory with records.
2. Vehicle Receiving and Inspection: Coordinating the receiving process for New Vehicle shipments, inspecting vehicles for damages or discrepancies, and documenting any issues for resolution with suppliers.
3. Vehicle Disposition: Organising the layout of vehicles within the dealership lot, ensuring efficient use of space, and coordinating with sales and service departments to prioritise vehicle display and preparation for sale.
4. Documentation and Reporting: Generating reports on inventory status, sales performance, and aged stock, providing insights to management for decision-making purposes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to vehicle documentation.
5. Communication and Coordination: Liaising with sales staff, service technicians, and external suppliers to facilitate the smooth flow of vehicle inventory operations, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
6. Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to ensure that vehicles meet dealership standards for presentation and readiness for sale, coordinating with the service department for necessary repairs or maintenance.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in automotive inventory management or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in dealership management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritise tasks.
• Understanding of automotive industry regulations and standards.
