Rocky Bay is a renowned disability and training services provider seeking enthusiastic, caring, and experienced Disability
Support Workers to support our clientele at a brand new Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) development in Gosnells. We are currently looking to fill shifts on a permanent and part time roster basis in night-duty.Available Night Duty roster: 59.5 hoursWeek 1 - Monday 2330-0800, Thursday 2330-0800 and Friday 2330-0800Week 2 - Tuesday 2330-0800, Wednesday 2330-0800, Saturday 2330-0800 and Sunday 2330-0800.We want people who:
- Have previous experience working with people with a disability, and are comfortable working with people with a range of disabilities.
- Can demonstrate person-centred approach through customer inclusion and participation.
- Have resilience and are prepared to embrace change and work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
- Can build relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
- Like to be part of a team environment and willing to go above and beyond in their role.
- Offer choice and independence to customers and have a passion to support and empower them to be their partner in possibility.
- Have a willingness to learn new skills and maintain satisfactory compliance requirements in line with NDIS requirements.
- Have experience and or insight in direct support and the understanding of supporting people maintain their health and autonomy in their own home
