Our Hotel
The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney is a Heritage Listed 364 room, five-star classic hotel located between Sydney's best shopping district and the Sydney Opera House.
The Role
We are seeking a Night Manager to oversee the operations of the hotel during the night shift. The Night Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises and maintaining a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving mindset and be able to work independently. This is a fulltime position. The hours are 11pm-7am and you must have full availability for this.
During your shift you will be supported by a Night Porter, Chef and Food & Beverage Attendant pending occupancy. There will be a minimum of 3 staff at all times. You will also be supported by our experienced Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager and team of Duty Managers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the night staff where necessary
- Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel
- Respond to and report emergencies and incidents as needed
- Maintain a high level of customer service/ guest experience
- Provides summary of activities during shift by preparing and distributing written log daily
- Night audit reporting, check in/ check out
- Hold (or willing to obtain) a valid NSW RSA and First Aid certificate
Your Skills
- Experience working with PMS Opera would be considered favourably
- Previous experience as a Night Auditor, Night Manager or Duty Manager in a 4 or 5 star hotel preferable
Salary
$75,000 + superannuation + meals
