About the role
An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced person to undertake the role of Non-Residential Withdrawal Nurse with the community Alcohol and Other Drug team.
The position sits within the Directorate of Community Services at Dhelkaya Health and is part of a multidiscipline team that also consists of counsellors and AOD Workers. The role supports people and their families who have chosen to reduce or cease their alcohol or other substance use within their chosen environment as part of a wrap-around services in the Mount Alexander Shire.
About you
- Registered Nurse eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Certificate IV Alcohol and Other Drugs or willingness to undertake study may be considered
- Demonstrated previous experience in a primary care or community setting.
- Demonstrated experience and/or ability to understand the needs of older adults and community service areas.
