About the role

A key role of a Non-residential Withdrawal Nurse will be to support people to safely achieve neuro-adaptation reversal or stabilisation through an abrupt cessation or gradual reducing regime. The role will conduct AOD Comprehensive assessments for walk-in clients as well as managing external referrals for clients seeking admission into Turning Point Addiction Medicine Unit. The role will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in providing care to AOD clients.

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA 
• Post Graduate qualifications in AOD
