Non Testing Technician

About The Role
Due to continued growth, Liebherr-Adelaide is seeking an experienced and qualified Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to compliment afternoon shift (2pm to 10.06pm). Reporting to Team Leader Reporting to the Team Leader, Remanufacturing – You will be responsible for the provision of safe, efficient and compliant; NDT and technical support services to the Division’s Re-manufacturing Team and Customers.
Duties

• Perform visual, magnetic particle inspection and ultra-sonic testing of parts
• Perform ultra-sonic testing of welds and mechanical joints
• Report writing - Technical
• Inspect components for conformity with established standards
• Apply quality control techniques
• Request spare parts
• Operate workshop equipment including mobile lifting equipment
• Use and maintain Hand tools
• Maintain a very high standard of housekeeping at all times

Skills & Experience

• Australian Institute of Non Destructive Testing (AINDT) Level 1 Certification or similar
• Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical)
• Proven minimum 5 years relevant experience
• High Risk Licence LF, DG, & EWP all highly desirable
• Ability to inspect work for conformity with established standards
• Able to work independently
