Job description:
We are currently recruiting for a Non-Trade Procurement Manager to play a crucial role in developing and implementing non-Trade Procurement policies, procedures, and plans. You will be responsible for managing the supplier tender process, purchasing activities, and reporting, all while ensuring efficient resource allocation. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation by delivering targeted cost savings and driving compliance with best practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage departmental operating budgets and costs efficiently to ensure optimal resource utilisation
- Represent our organization in the global Procurement community, sharing insights and deploying best practices
- Support ANZ Business Units in achieving non-Trade Procurement (NTP) targets and budgets
- Develop and implement non-Trade Procurement policies and procedures to ensure cost savings and greater economies of scale
- Identify non-Trade Procurement needs based on business requirements and coordinate supplier analysis
- Lead the supplier tender process, including evaluation, selection, contract negotiation, and renewal
- Review and validate purchasing documents for accuracy and accountability
- Monitor timely delivery of purchases/services and address variances
- Prepare purchasing reports for transparency
- Lead Global Procurement projects to streamline processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve procurement issues
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure service sustainability
To be successful you will have:
- Degree or professional qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong managerial experience
- Knowledge of industry practices and strong project management skills
- Proficiency in indirect sourcing and procurement functions
- Experience with SAP or similar accounting applications (an advantage)
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
