Located in the Belmont area, we are a Community Based, long day-care centre which is well-established and known for its commitment to providing high quality Education and Care programs.
We are currently seeking a vibrant and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team, in a permanent, Part time role, 4 days per week. With generous conditions, ratios and above award pay rate, we offer 5 weeks annual leave pro rata, and 5 weeks personal leave pro rata after completing your first 12mths. We also provide a 50 minute paid lunch break, additional programming hours, shirts and jacket provided as well as two paid Nesa accredited workshops per year.
Depending on your experience you will either be a Co-room leader, or for new graduates be provided with mentorship to help guide you into a future room leader.
You will be required to support the service in the continuation of providing high quality care and education for our children. While your responsibilities include facilitating educational programs and mentoring educators in play-based learning programs, you will also display a genuine passion for Early Childhood education and your personal philosophy will align with our overall service philosophy.
The successful applicant will hold a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent, and demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be passionate about working closely with other educators, children and families and demonstrate a high level commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young children.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Completed a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching
- Understanding of the EYLF and NQF and how it applies in practice
- Ability to link personal philosophy with centre philosophy
- Current First Aid, WWCC, approved Asthma, Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Well developed written and communication skills and ability to work with and incorporate technology in your day to day practices
- Ability to write learning stories and developmental records.
- Passionate about learning and developing your skills and knowledge
- Passionate about 0-5 year old children's learning and development
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Energetic, reliable and fun
- Professional attitude and a desire for personal growth
Essential Requirement:
- Be available to work between 7:15am and 5:45pm
- Fluent in English
- NESA accredited
