What you'll be doing
Following on from The Strategic Plan development, the Project Officer will develop and commence a plan of implementation for SCHN. The Implementation of the Strategic Plan at JHCH will be overseen by HNELHD staff.
- Demonstrated tertiary qualifications or experience in policy, planning or project management in a relevant health environment.
- Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of paediatric End of Life and Palliative Care issues and priorities at local and state level.
- Proven ability to work effectively across organisations or teams simultaneously, while balancing competing objectives.
- Proven ability to communicate and negotiate change and improvement strategies with clinicians, executives and other stakeholders through all organisation levels.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately as well as utilising analytical skills to gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative information using clinical, administrative and statistical software.
- Highly developed skills in the tracking and reporting of funding.
- Demonstrated high level of information communication and technology skills, highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including high level written and presentation skills with the ability to present clear and concise verbal and written proposals and updates.
- Ability to travel to JHCH (Newcastle), adult health care centres and other relevant facilities across NSW as the role requires.
