Salary- Central Adelaide Local Health Network - SA Prison Health Service - Marden
- Salary: $114,560 - $119,682 (p.a.) + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits
- Permanent, Full Time Role
Various practice models may be used to enact this role, including but not limited to:
- Providing clinical leadership to nurses/midwives;
- Coordination and leadership of projects and/or programs that contribute clinical expertise to improve patient/client/service outcomes;
- Provision of expert clinical advice inside and external to their assigned health service
- Provide management support in a specific work portfolio/s related to compliance with relevant legislation and applicable standards of clinical practice within SAPHS
- Provide nursing leadership and oversight for clinical procedure development and practice improvement around NSQHS Standards 4 and 7.
- Provide leadership for the Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) program and ensure compliance with legislation.
- In collaboration with the Medical Director SAPHS review and develop standing drug orders.
- Provide leadership within SAPHS for Quality Improvement activities and work with the CALHN Safety and Quality Unit to ensure overarching compliance with the NSQHS and against any correctional based healthcare standards.
- Lead and/or support SAPHS clinical portfolios as required.
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South's Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre and the Repat Health Precinct. We also deliver mental health services at Glenside Health Services and at a range of other locations across the metropolitan area.
Our Statewide clinical services include BreastScreen SA, SA Pathology, SA Medical Imaging and SA Pharmacy. Community health services include SA Dental (including School Dental Services), SA Prison Health and Donate Life SA.
