About the role
Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Services, this Nurse Educator role will provide clinical development, training and mentoring support to campus clinical employees.
As the Nurse Educator your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of agreed education programs
- Overseeing the development of resources for use by staff to improve consistency in staff education
- Facilitating frequent review and updates to learning packages
- Establishing a coordinated approach and resources to assess clinical competence
- Promoting participation in working groups that will improve patient care or education
This is a permanent, part-time role (2 to 3 days/week or 0.5 FTE), Monday to Friday, however may require early starts or late finishes to accommodate shifts.

Your skills & experience
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum of 5 years acute clinical nursing experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure nursing staff are adequately trained
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable
