Exciting opportunity to join Tweed Valley Hospital, a new, major referral hospital at the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region.
- The new state of the art facility will include:
- more operating theatres and recovery spaces
- expanded emergency department
- enhanced medical, surgical, and mental health services
- enhanced ambulatory care services including more outpatient clinics
- new interventional cardiology service
- new radiotherapy service as part of a new integrated cancer care service.

The successful candidates are required to support and mentor student nurses and to facilitate a professional relationship between the university students (undergraduate nurses) and Local Health District Registered Nurses. The Nurse Educator is responsible for the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of nursing education programs at a facility level to support development of evidence based, person centred nursing care
