NURSE EDUCATOR - Mental Health
Are you a motivated and passionate nurse inspired by professional development and nurturing of others? A position to work as a Nurse Educator role is available from mid March. You will play a key role in the facilitation of Undergraduate Student Placement, provide mandatory training to staff and support the Education Team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Facilitate Undergraduate Student Placements
Provide hands on educational support and clinical teaching/facilitation and orientation to all staff, graduate nurses & students
Promote a high standard of evidence based nursing care to all patients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledge
Support staff compliance to annual Mandatory Training and completion of eLearning components

Essential Criteria:
Registered Nurse with Current AHPRA Registration
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mental Health
High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
Certificate IV workplace training and Assessment (TAE) (or working towards / willingness to obtain)
