Our client, has multiple roles across Australia and New Zealand for qualified Registered Nurses with experience working in the Emergency Department.
Sponsorship is available to candidates who are NMBI, NHS or APHRA registered.
Qualifications/Experience/ Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration or Stream A for IQNM.
- Ability to apply excellent communication and problem-solving skills with both patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining good working relationships.
- Experience documenting patient experiences and relaying patient feedback to Doctors and Nurse Managers.
- Be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with a changing working environment.
- In depth knowledge of emergency medicine.
- At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in the emergency department
- Sound computer knowledge and application.
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing.
- Ability to obtain a Police Clearance.
- Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
- Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check.
- Provide a high standard of clinical discipline-specific expertise within the multidisciplinary team processes and work collaboratively with people, carers, and community agencies/other stakeholders to provide care co-ordination.
- Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness.
- Immediately stabilize incoming patients
- Administer medication as instructed by physicians.
- Start intravenous lines.
- Create and maintain incoming patient records.
- Work with a team of the emergency staff to help patients.
- Help transfer / Discharge patients.
- Support the Nurse Manager in the day-to-day operations.
- Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification which contribute to the operation of the organisation.
- Respond to and prioritise competing demands in a calm and efficient manner while maintaining high work standards.
- Demonstrated track record of contributing to a healthy workforce that encourages collaborative teamwork and complies with all the applicable regulatory and legislative requirements set out for such a role.
