Join this South Australian Government Department and contribute to the effective management of records and sentencing processes. This department are committed to delivering excellence in their services and are looking for a skilled individual to join the team.
Candidates must have experience and a good understanding with the sentencing process in relation to information assets including general disposal schedules (GDS).Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret disposal schedules accurately
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with Objective ERDMS (desirable)
• Sentencing, listing, and boxing on-site files
• Sentencing of boxes being returned from State Records
• Organize and reconcile consignment lists
• Undertake administrative processes of destructions and archiving of SAFA records
• Assist Senior Records Management Officer in naming conventions within Objective
• Aid in commencing the process to transfer physical files to electronic files
• Provide backup administrative assistance when necessary

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience with the sentencing process of information assets
• Good understanding of general disposal schedules (GDS)
• Knowledge of sentencing procedures and records management practices
• Previous experience in records management or related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
