The Opportunity
The Nurse Manager - Clinical Safety, Quality & Risk Facilitator is responsible for leading strategic quality improvement project management and for providing specialist advice and active management of projects and training related to risk, safety and quality for haematology/oncology.
They will perform a variety of independent duties involved in the establishment of policy, procedures, standards and projects that directly relate to the clinical area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and assessing risks and implementing, monitoring and maintaining risk control measures.
- Developing a safety and quality plan specific for clinical trials.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to facilitate in the uptake of safety and quality initiatives.
- Contribute specific expertise to monitor and evaluate research activities in order to improve practice and service delivery.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving conflict resolution and negotiation
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience in quality management systems or quality improvement programmes
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, industrial agreements, standards, codes, ethics and competency standards
