Form of work About the role The NPC is required to be currently enrolled in a Master of Nurse Practitioner program working towards endorsement with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA). The NPC is an integral member of the multidisciplinary health care team who practices in collaboration with others to assess and manage patients within the ED using expert nursing knowledge and skills at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nurse Standards of Practice. The NPC is accountable for clinical practice, professional advice given and delegations of care and contributes specialised clinical expertise, clinical assessment and advice to achieve integrated nursing care within a risk management and best practice framework. This role operates within the emergency care model of service.
