This is a Recruitment Pool for suitably qualified Nurse Practitioners – Emergency Department covering:

Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time, Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

The following should be noted:

• The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.

• Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
• Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2024.

Position Profile: The Nurse Practitioner – Emergency Department (NP-ED) provides advanced nursing practice using innovative models to patients and their families presenting for emergency and urgent care. The role functions autonomously and collaboratively in an advanced and extended clinical role with other health professionals to diagnose, treat and manage patients’ health problems, and uses nursing expertise and leadership that influences and progresses clinical care, policy and collaboration for emergency and urgent care patients in WACHS and the South West region.

This pool is to recruit suitably qualified Nurse Practitioners - Emergency Department for a number of locations across the South West region, including Bunbury, Busselton and Inland sites.
