- Salary RN-4 $128,327 - $133,758 p.a.
- Part-time working up to 34 hours per week
- Temporary Contracts covering different periods for 2024 (March- June & September - November)
A Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice nurse endorsed by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia to practise within their scope under the legislatively protected title 'Nurse Practitioner. Advanced practice nursing as a Nurse Practitioner is a qualitatively different level of advanced nursing practice to that of the registered nurse due to the additional legislative functions and the regulatory requirements. The requirements include a prescribed educational level, a specified advanced nursing practice experience, and continuing professional development. Employees classified at this level provide high level clinical nursing expertise for specified individual patients/clients and/or groups/populations.
Qualifications
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with the notation of Nurse Practitioner.
- Authorised as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South's Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct. We also deliver mental health services at Glenside Health Services and at a range of other locations across the metropolitan and regional areas.
