Equally adept acting autonomously or in collaboration, they’re as acutely attentive of people as they are clinical best practice.

AND YOU ARE…? 

… about to be, or already certified as a Nurse Practitioner, with high-level nursing skills and a good grounding in adult and aged health. You also have: 

• Clear and effective communication skills 
• Critical thinking and interpersonal skills 
• Time management and planning abilities 
• Team orientation 

Reporting to the Senior Nurse Practitioner, the role requires: 

• An advanced level of clinical input and independent practice that can advocate for and direct residents’ care in a timely manner  
• The ability to nurture and upskill registered nurses and care team to instil confidence in improving resident outcomes. 
• Partnering with primary healthcare providers tooptimise available resources and outcomes 
• The capacity to assess complex situations, enabling staff to confidently deliver appropriate care  
• Providing first class care that facilitates hospital avoidance  
• Ensuring good deaths and end of life care
