About the role
Join our team at Ashwood Medical Group in this rewarding Nurse Team Leader role, where you will provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients through:
- Assisting the medical practitioner in delivering medical services: patient triage, acute illness, health assessments /injury management, rehabilitation and chronic disease management
- Supporting the Practice Manager through coordinating and monitoring the day to day operation of the Treatment Room
- Providing support and guidance to the Nursing team on clinical issues and ensuring standards are maintained
- Identifying & contributing to the development of patient educational needs
- Implementing and practicing infection control
Skills & experience
- Current AHPRA registration - Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Previous general practice experience (essential)
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Minimum 3 year post graduate experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent communication skills
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
- Experience with Best Practice software
