- Salary $121,537 - $126,970 p.a. (pro rata) RN/M3 | Full Time, Ongoing
About the Role:
As the Nurse Unit Manager for Mental Health Hospital in the Home, your duties may include:
- Providing the pivotal leadership and co-ordination of patient care delivery in theMental Health Hospital in the Home Service to achieve continuity and quality of patient care and outcomes and efficient patient flow.
- Ensuring that service provision and the activities of the service are person and family centred and professionally and effectively conducted by contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers
- Contributing to the development of, implementation of, and monitoring of corporate policies and processes and lead in their area of expertise.
- Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting and adherence to resources allocations.
- To be Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate.
- Must be enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or hold a qualification in Mental Health practice.
- At least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
- Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
