We work in native and plantation forestry across the diverse environment of Western Australia. Our work is shaping the future of the forest products industry, with forest health, fibre security and climate change the key drivers.The FPC is currently transitioning its business in alignment with the government’s changes in forest policy. This will result in a shift from commercial scale native forestry in the south west to a focus on thinning for forest health and increased softwood plantation development activity to support WA’s housing and construction industry. The harvesting, regeneration and marketing of native sandalwood is also an important part of our operations and provides unique opportunities for Aboriginal people to work on traditional lands.About the roleThe Level 2 Assistant Operations Nursery Officer and Level 3 Nursery Operations Officer roles are responsible for end-to-end production and maintenance activities across our Manjimup nursery.Further details regarding the duties and responsibilities can be found in the attached Job Descriptions.
