There are 2 full-time positions available.

Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated individual who is passionate about all things Horticulture or Forestry? If so, apply now!

We are seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Nursery and Seed Centre team while also enjoying the rural lifestyle that the town of Manjimup has to offer.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE AT 4PM ON WEDNESDAY 27 MARCH 2024.

Now is the time to join the Forest Products Commission as we reposition for the future!

The Forest Products Commission (FPC) is a small Government agency that makes a big impact. We work in native and plantation forestry across the diverse environment of Western Australia. Our work is shaping the future of the forest products industry, with forest health, fibre security and climate change the key drivers.

The FPC is currently transitioning its business in alignment with the government’s changes in forest policy. This will result in a shift from commercial scale native forestry in the south west to a focus on thinning for forest health and increased softwood plantation development activity to support WA’s housing and construction industry.  The harvesting, regeneration and marketing of native sandalwood is also an important part of our operations and provides unique opportunities for Aboriginal people to work on traditional lands.

About the role

The Level 2 Assistant Operations Nursery Officer and Level 3 Nursery Operations Officer roles are responsible for end-to-end production and maintenance activities across our Manjimup nursery.

Further details regarding the duties and responsibilities can be found in the attached Job Descriptions.  To find out more about our business visit our website to view our annual report.
