The purpose of this role is to provide advanced leadership, to strategically plan and collaboratively manage workforce planning, education and workforce development, innovative practice and research across STARS within an interprofessional environment facilitating best practice and optimal consumer/person outcomes.
The role assumes responsibility for operational/strategic nursing leadership and innovation of STARS workforce and education services to build capacity through contemporary evidenced-based clinical and professional practice standards in line with the Metro North Health (MNH) Nursing and Midwifery Professional Stream strategic direction. The position also collaborates with the Higher Education and Vocational Sectors on contemporary undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education and workforce development.
