About the role:
We are looking for a very special person to fill the role of Nursing Services Manager. A person that can lead and inspire our fertility nursing team to deliver exceptional patient, nursing and clinical outcomes and fulfil the Newlife IVF clinic vision.
What does the role involve:
- Lead and manage nursing and sonographer teams
- Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary leadership team, provide direction and clinical knowledge to contribute to quality patient care
- Management of Nursing and Clinical SOP’s and processes, ensuring clinical compliance
- Participating in RTAC accreditation as the Nurse Manager and fulfilling the requirements of the role
- Staff rostering and leave management
- Reporting of nursing and patient cycle outcomes
- Introducing new methodologies as required
- Manage change control
- Providing and leading genuine care and support to our patients through their IVF journey
- Responsible for nursing staff training, competency and supervision
- Ensuring staff are supported and engaged
- Participate in scheduling of patient cycles and cycle management
- Working with the management team for strategy development & implementation
- Adhering to relevant health and safety standards
- Adhering to standard operating procedures
- Applying ethics, integrity and critical thinking
About you:
Ideally you will bring
- Previous experience as a Fertility Nursing Manager (essential)
- Minimum 5 experience in fertility nursing (essential)
- Current Division 1 Registered nurse practice certificate and registered to practice in Victoria
- Knowledge of RTAC Code of Practise
- Excellent knowledge of IVF treatment regimes and protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise efficiently
- Strong computer literacy skills across Microsoft office suite
- Focus and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- A desire to be part of a broader team that focuses on individuals and outcomes
