Your part in The Wesley Hospital team

Working within our Allied Health Team as a Nutrition Assistant you will support and assist the provision of nutrition care for inpatients of The Wesley Hospital, conducting malnutrition screening, arranging appropriate nutrition in accordance with established standards, and working closely with dietitians as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care.

What makes a difference for us?

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance specialising in Nutrition and Dietetics or Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition) or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in order to effectively communicate with patients, nursing, medical and allied health staff.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload.
• Demonstrated knowledge and competence with Microsoft Office – Work, Excel, Outlook and general IT skills – internet and data entry skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as a member of the team.
• Availability for a 7 day rotating roster.
