The position is responsible for executing all Occupational Health and Safety related activities, assisting with OHS policies, procedures and initiatives. Key responsibilities will include: Assist with management of OHS as well as contractor safety both surface level and underground. Support site compliance activities, incident investigations and escalations, audits and inspections as well as process improvements. Creation and amendment of the site based OHS plan and related procedures. Championing a safety positive approach for all site-based employees. Creation and delivery of workplace training and site-based inductions. Provide assistance with the injury management process.
