OT Essentials is a small but growing Occupational Therapy practice based in Geelong that is well recognised as a highly regarded and established provider of OT services.
Delivering full mobile therapy services in the Geelong, Bellarine, Surf Coast and Colac areas to NDIS participants, Home Care package recipients, TAC and self funded clients, OT Essentials has garnered a solid reputation as a leading provider of OT services and as such, we are excited to be expanding in 2024.
Due to ongoing growth and demand, an opportunity now exists for an Occupational Therapist to join our team, which is lead by a highly experienced OT of 20+ years. This opportunity could be well suited to either a graduate looking to commence their career or an experienced OT and we are happy to consider both full-time or part-time candidates.

The Role
The opportunity now exists for an Occupational Therapist to join OT Essentials and work collaboratively with the existing team to continue to provide the exceptional OT Services to our community that we are recognised for. The role is based in our centrally located Geelong office and will be a mix of office based and mobile work. You will be fully supported by our dedicated Practice Manager and Senior OT/Director, and have full scope to continue to develop your career through ongoing professional development and mentoring.
A variable and diverse caseload will be provided in addition to regular supervision and direct support by our fabulous senior OT.
You
To be successful, our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Bachelor’s / Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid AHPRA registration
- Current Driver’s Licence and own reliable car
- Current Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children’s Check – Employee, or eligibility to obtain these clearances prior to commencement
- Ideally 2+ years experience as an Occupational Therapist, though qualified graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience working within the NDIS framework preferable
- Commitment and a genuine interest in establishing yourself with our business and growing with us long term
- Excellent presentation, communication skills, pro-active and mature work ethic a must
