About The Role: Brightside Recruitment has partnered with a growing company looking to expand their team with 2 or more Occupational Therapists in Queensland (open to all locations). This company puts family as a priority with its work-from-home flexibility and work-life balance. Role: Based in Queensland, the Occupational Therapist will work amongst a team of Occupational Therapists and have sound knowledge of how the NDIS funding works and how to break down a plan. This role will entail outreach service delivery from Community-based settings. Daily tasks will include;
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention for clients.
- Develop intervention plans, including short and long-term goals, in line with the client’s NDIS goals.
- Good communication, by ensuring integrated service delivery and follow-ups, coordinating and communicating as required.
- Incorporate a holistic approach to health care according to community and organisation priorities.
- Ensure all information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record system.
- Work closely with support coordinators and referring clinics to track the client's progress.
- Ability to work autonomously
Essential Criteria:
- AHPRA fully registered Occupational Therapist
- National Police Check, Blue Card (WWC)
- NDIS worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), (or relevant exemption)
- Demonstrated right to work in Australia
- Completion on NDIS Worker Orientation
- Certificate of completion must be provided.
- A copy of stated qualification certification
- Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Current drivers license and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Must be triple vaccinated against Covid-19
- Full time hours, Monday to Friday.
