The exciting opportunity:
- 5 day per fortnight with your choice of hours and days
- 100 bed residential aged care facility in the Rockingham area
- Conduct thorough assessments and regular reviews to identify residents' physical, psychosocial, and emotional requirements
- Create care plans that are aligned with resident needs and therapeutic goals, and prescribe any necessary equipment
- Collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator to develop, implement, monitor and review meaningful programs that enhance independence and quality of life
- Direct and oversee and Therapy and Leisure Partners to ensure appropriate care is being delivered
- Cultivate reliable relationships with residents and address family concerns, promoting collaboration and effective communication
- Open to new graduates and experienced Occupational Therapists
- Design the role to suit you – choose your days and start and finish times
- Receive ongoing support and supervision to help you succeed and develop
- Be guided and supported by your dedicated 3D Recruit Career Consultant, assisting with CV creation, interview preparation and career advice
- $41 - $51 + super + salary packaging
- Current AHPRA Registration as Occupational Therapist
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities for establishing rapport with residents and families
- Proven proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalised care plans
- Enthusiastic, passionate, and confident in utilising outstanding clinical skills to deliver holistic care
