Job description
As a mobile Allied Health clinician –Occupational Therapist, you will be providing care to Australian’s wherever they call home, the role requirements are primarily in community care but may involve residential aged care.
This is a great opportunity for you to have variety in your caseload which will allow you to utilise your skills and grow as a health professional with the support of our senior clinicians.
You will support clients via:
Community:
Home Care Package clients: supporting adults and elderly to remain independent at home, through: home assessment, equipment prescription and home modifications.
Our clinicians will have the opportunity to help us to shape and implement our Rehab in the home program and Hospital in the Home programs.
Residential Aged Care:
Complete assessments, including initials, reviews, post hospitalisation and falls.
Develop, implement, and manage programs
Design and facilitate group programs
Complete individual sessions with residents
Facilitate manual handling
Equipment prescription
This role suits a qualified, fully AHPRA registered or Limited Registered (remote level) clinician. Ideally (but not essential) you will have a minimum 1 years’ experience in a community or Aged Care setting. As a mobile Occupational Therapist, you will need to be comfortable travelling to our clients located in Hobart and as such provide your own vehicle.
