Kawa Allied Health is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary Allied Health team.
The role involves:
• Full time or part time employment
• Maintaining an independent caseload of NDIS, CHSP and HCP clients
• Completing evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention via NDIS, CHSP and HCP funding programs
• Completing functional and home environment assessments, AT, and home modification recommendations
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary team to achieve ultimate team client outcomes
• Operating out of residential, community & clinical rooms
• Ensure that each consumer receives safe and effective services and supports for daily living that are culturally safe and meet the consumer’s needs, goals and preferences and optimise their independence, health, wellbeing, and quality of life
About You:
You’re a passionate individual that seeks to improve the lives of members of the community by providing services to our most vulnerable individuals.
To be successful, you will need:
• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Experience or willingness to learn NDIS and My Aged Care funding schemes, and maintaining a caseload of clients under these funding bodies
• Current Driver’s License
• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certification
