We work with children 2-18 years providing therapeutic services in the home, school, and community. A successful applicant will have the following:
- A tertiary qualification (Bachelor or Masters) in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA certification or ability to attain
- Full working rights within Australia
- A valid driver's license and personal vehicle for in-home visits
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Working with Children Checks
Your role as a Balance to Bloom Occupational Therapist:
- Plan and deliver child and family focussed interventions utilising a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed lens
- Provide occupational therapy assessment and ongoing services to children aged 2-18
- Coach and assist family networks and support people to understand the child’s needs and implement strategies
- Foster best practice paediatric occupational therapy, ensuring that the standard of care is maintained at the highest possible level
- Plan for and complete continued professional development
- Maintain accurate client records
- Plan and liaise with practice colleagues to effectively manage clients within agreed diary structure, and effectively to ensure that caseloads are met
- Actively participate in supervision
