About theRole

We arelooking for a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join us in fosteringa positive and supportive environment for paediatric clients and their families.Within this role you will provide comprehensive occupational therapyassessments, therapeutic interventions and reports for children referred to theservice, delivered in home, clinic and community settings. You will conducttherapy sessions that may be individual or in group settings, targeting areassuch as fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care and play skills. Youwill regularly review and evaluate the progress of paediatric clients,adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. You willcollaborate and communicate effectively with parents/ care givers, teachers,doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach.This role also includes the supervision and mentoring of junior therapists,providing guidance and support in clinical practice. You will demonstratestrong leadership skills and a commitment to professional growth, modellingbest practices and fostering a culture of lifelong learning.

About You

We like tokeep an open mind when it comes to bringing therapists onboard! With that beingsaid, there are a few requirements for our therapists which are:

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  
• At least 3 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist within a paediatric setting in the private or public sector
  
• AHPRA Registration
  
• NDISWC / WWCC (or willingness to apply)
  
• Current Australian driver’s licence
  
• Ability to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations based on State Government requirements (or applicable exemption)
