Qualifications & experience
- Occupational therapy degree
- AHPRA registration
- Working with children check
- Police check
- Knowledge of typical child development
- NDIS worker registration
- Experience working with a range of occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children with diagnosis including cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, autism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, autonomous work skills and strong organisational skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
- In your role as an Occupational therapist you will be required to drive to visit clients in their homes, day care or school settings to provide occupational therapy intervention.
- You will be responsible for assessing, providing therapy intervention, writing goal reports for NDIS and communicating with families and relevant stakeholders.
