We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our growing public health service and further develop your skills within a supportive environment. Role is open to a Grade 1 or Grade 2 level professional, come and join the team!

The Contract: Ongoing Full time, 80.0 hours per fortnight with monthly Accrued Day Off (ADO) 

The Position:

This role will deliver Occupational therapy for clients that promotes, maintains and assists recovery and independence in all aspects of daily living, at home, work, and in the community. This role will have a primary focus on services to inpatient consumers of Bairnsdale Regional Health Service in acute or rehabilitation and Geriatric Evaluation Management (GEM) clients.

What you need:

• A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
• Sound knowledge and experience in one or more of the areas of acute inpatients and inpatient rehabilitation/GEM or community/outpatient rehabilitation.
• Ability to provide patient centred care and goal focused interventions in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to participate as an effective and collaborative member of a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of patient care, contributing to care coordination and discharge planning.
